about us.
God’s pantry is the largest food bank that is ran and led by formerly incarcerated and gang affiliated individuals.
Every year we help over 200 individuals from underserved populations find employment and healing by distributing free groceries to over 10,000 Los Angeles County families every single month. We help our trainees re-discover themselves and their purpose in life by serving the common good of the communities we serve.

WHY FOOD?
34%
of our county’s households (over 1 Million families) are unsure of where their next meal is coming from
8 Million Pounds
of food are thrown away every single day in Los Angeles County
Feeding COmmunities: OUR REGIONAL IMPACT
What began in Pomona has grown year after year, reaching neighboring cities and expanding our ability to meet people right where they are. Each pin represents a site where families receive essential food support monthly —and every year, we're expanding our reach. Additionally, each location reflects a partnership, a story, a neighbor in need, and our God’s Pantry team ready to respond with compassion.
As food insecurity grows, so does our resolve to reach more communities with dignity and compassion. This map captures that ongoing journey—one marked by expansion, empathy, and a community united in the fight against hunger.
None of this would be possible without the generosity and support of our partners.
